Last Daze of Summer

Wow, I can't believe summer is already over. It's now 121am on what is now a very early Sunday morning. Monday I have schedule pickup or whatever at 915 in the morning. It basically only lasts an hour, and we get our schedule and books, as well as our locker, and we just put all our books in our locker. And that's about it. Oh, and maybe we'll get the hour (or maybe now just a half-hour) long speech by Mr. Hayes. I don't know. It's gonna be tough to let go of this summer lifestyle. Going to bed at 4 and waking up at 2.... to going to bed at 11 and waking up at 7. And I'll have to get all dressed up everyday. And listen to teachers. And maybe even study this year. Ahhh. Haha, probably just a little for chemistry though... and maybe a tiny bit for the SAT. Oh, and I might have to memorize a few things for AP European History. But yeah, I mean, Biology was supposed to be really hard (and it was), but I still totally never studied for it, and I still did pretty well, so I'm not that scared of any of these harder classes. Plus, with school comes hockey, so you know I'm totally okay with going back to school. And I'm kind of excited too. To kind of do something different everyday. Instead of just hanging with the same kids and doing the same things, I'll be able to hang with totally different kids and do some different things at school. Honestly, I'm so bored with 360 and video games in general... and even the computer is getting really lame, so this is actually really good timing. Plus, I think it will be really cool to be a junior too. Being older should be alot more fun. And intramural hockey should be fun too. I still need to find a ride there, but that shouldn't be a problem. The LHA draft skate is on Wednesday, and I guess dad didn't get the coaching job. It actually went to Dale Massa. My guess is that he's gonna protect Rory MacLennan.... and knowing them, they may just come after me in the draft... I just hope they can before Paquette does. Honestly though, with Massa in goal and Rory and I on the same team... I don't know, but that just screams "state champs" to me... and even if we weren't that good, their practices are a ton of fun, and I know that I would at the very least have fun being on that team. On the Bruins, coach Mark got a decent amount of ice for us... not as much as I would have wanted, but it was definitely more than Coach Gray got last year. But anyways, that's about it for now... I just though I'd fill you in before i head back to school. Oh, and those summer reading tests are Wednesday, so that should be fun. Oh, and by the way, Grandma has been here all weekend and what not sleepingover because Mom is in Mackinaw Island. I think I spelled that wrong, but whatever. Yeah, she's on one of those business trips. It's been a nice change of pace... we've gotten alot of food from places other than this house. Like after she forced us to go to church on Friday (one negative of Mom not being here), Drake and I go to go to Subway for lunch. And last night we had Pizza Hut, stuffed crust. And I think we had something else.... but I can't really remember what it was... Haha, but yeah. I have to wake up tomorrow for 10am church, so you could technically say that my summer has already ended because I can't even sleep in tomorrow. Oh, and that other thing was Arby's, which I got cold when I woke up Thursday morning. Haha, but yeah, life is good. The first couple weeks of school are always fun, and hockey is always boss, and I'm still working the snackbar through August and maybe into September. And I went to Kroger, when Drake and I were at Subway, to ask for an application, but they said they weren't hiring. And I guess I'm still looking for another job? Haha, I don't know. Kind of, but not really. I've applied to AMC and Busch's, but neither have responded. Anyways, I'm gonna try to fall asleep early tonight (haha, 202am). But yeah, I'm peacin' out bro. Later.
